INGREDIENTS

• 100 Gr sweet potato, cooked, boiled, without skin [sweetpotato]

• 80 Gr wheat flour, white, all-purpose, self-rising, enriched

• 30 Gr cheese, cheddar

• 50 Gr butter, without salt

• 2 Gr crystal of the sea carrot powder

• 10 Gr sugars, brown

• 20 Gr egg, yolk, raw, fresh

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Steam the sweet potatoes until soft, then mash and let cool.
  2. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, mix the mashed sweet potato, butter, palm sugar, and egg yolk until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour while mixing until it forms a dough. Add Crystal of the Sea Carrot Powder and grated cheese, then mix until smooth and pliable.
  5. Take a small portion of the dough and shape it into small balls or your desired shape. Lightly press the tops with a fork to add texture.
  6. Arrange the dough on the baking tray. Bake in the oven for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack before storing in an airtight container.
